SEATTLE — PREMIERE SCREENING & SENTRA WELCOME

Last night in Bellevue, something powerful happened.

Over 100 security professionals, allies, leaders, and students filled the AMC Factoria 8 theater for the Seattle premiere of The WOMEN IN SECURITY Documentary — transforming a film screening into an energizing movement for inclusion, representation, and leadership across the security industry.

From the moment the theater lights dimmed, the audience was locked in. The stories of the women featured in the film — pioneers in cybersecurity, physical security, intelligence, executive protection, risk, and beyond — sparked emotional reactions, deep recognition, and a shared fire to do more.

Attendees described the film as “inspiring,” “honest,” “energizing,” and “a powerful reminder of why representation matters.”
Others shared that they left the event “hopeful,” “more determined,” and driven to “support and amplify voices like these.”

One audience member put it perfectly:

“It shook me in ways I didn’t anticipate — the documentary highlights the very real obstacles women face stepping into fields long dominated by a single group… but it also shows the courage, compassion, and grit needed to shape your own path.”

The room was electric — not only with applause, but with connection.
Mentors found mentees. Sponsors met future leaders. Security teams from across disciplines came together around one shared belief:

When every voice has a seat and a clear path to lead, our profession grows stronger.

We are deeply grateful to Sentra, our Seattle presenting partner, along with our venue partners and supporters whose belief in this mission made the event possible. Together, we are driving visibility, opening doors, and lighting the way for the next generation.

And this is only the beginning!
